"As I pursued greater knowledge I earned my Master’s degree at Queen Elizabeth College, University of London and my Doctorate degree in Clinical Biochemistry at Surrey University, England.
My main research was that on how different proteins interact within the body in conjunction with amino acids and the results of how the body would react to the excess or limited supply of certain proteins. One of my publish journals was in 1975 is titled “Effect of a Low Protein Diet and Isoenergetic Amounts of a High Protein Diet in the Weanling Rat on the Free Amino Acids of the Brain”.
When I read that in my home country of Singapore close to half of the adults are now considered overweight or obese (BMI Index, World Health Organization, 2012) I became very concerned. I have always known that because of changes in our dietary consumption over the years, our bodies would react differently to the amounts consumed and also to the refined nature of our foods today.
From the outset my curiosity has always been towards the fields of nutrition, body development and aging. I have accumulated many years of experience in these fields and would pass on my knowledge in subjects relevant to you. This book is not meant as a concrete guide but more as informative information regarding subjects that are relevant today.
With 40 years background in the nutrition field my goal is to use my knowledge to provide information and product to aid in peoples overall wellbeing."
